Attaching Team Member

Position: Attaching Team Member

Location: Riedell Skates - Red Wing, MN

Position Summary:

At Riedell Shoes, Inc. we take pride in being a family-owned and operated business since 1945. We are looking for candidates who are interested in providing our customers with some of the best skating products in the world.

We're looking for a dependable, self-motivated Attaching Team Member who takes pride in getting the job done right. This is a hands-on position for someone who shows up every day, arrives on time, works with urgency, and doesn't need constant supervision.

The ideal candidate is comfortable operating a forklift, unloading shipping containers, organizing inventory, and keeping the warehouse running efficiently. Just as important, you'll be able to use a computer to process shipments, track orders, communicate with shipping carriers, and maintain accurate records.

We are currently looking to add to our Shipping and Attaching Team:

  • What you will do:
    • Precision Assembly: Spend time on your feet expertly attaching wheel or blade components to skate boots using both hand tools and simple machinery.
    • Heavy Lifting: Regularly and repeatedly lift and move boxes weighing up to 40 lbs. as you help load and unload inventory directly from shipping containers. May be temporarily exposed to above-average warmth or cold while unloading containers.
    • Drive Team Efficiency: Operate a forklift to move materials safely across the floor (we will train and certify you).
    • Stay Cross-Functional: Pivot smoothly between precise assembly work and heavy-duty shipping tasks depending on the day's demands.

Pay:

  • Minimum Starting Pay: $20.65 per hour. Increasing to $22.15 per hour after 12 months. Starting pay may vary based on skills and related experience.

Hours:

  • All Shipping positions work a day shift, Monday-Friday schedule.
