Shipping Team Member

Position: Shipping Team Member

Location: Riedell Skates - Red Wing, MN

Position Summary:

At Riedell Shoes, Inc. we take pride in being a family-owned and operated business since 1945. We are looking for candidates who are interested in providing our customers with some of the best skating products in the world.

We are currently looking to add to our Shipping Team. Successful candidates will have a good attendance record, a positive attitude, and the willingness to learn and take direction.

Minimum Requirements of the job are:

  • Must currently have or be able to gain the ability to: process shipments, look up orders, etc.. in Syteline, use Microsoft Outlook, and use Microsoft Excel.
  • Accurately pick, prepare, and package orders for shipments.
  • Unloading shipping containers.
  • Repeated lifting of boxes of up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to use a Forklift (will train and certify if necessary).
  • Coordinate pickups and deliveries with shipping carriers.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively and professionally with both internal and external customers.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to regularly conduct stand-up work.
  • Excellent attendance.
  • Ability to work overtime or adjust work schedule as needed.

Additional Preferred Skills:

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in shipping or warehouse work.

Pay:

  • Minimum Starting Pay: $20.65 per hour. Increasing to $22.15 per hour after 12 months. Starting pay may vary based on skills and related experience.

Hours:

  • All Shipping positions work a day shift, Monday-Friday schedule.

Customer Service Order Entry Team Member

Position: Customer Service Order Entry Team Member

Location: Riedell Skates - Red Wing, MN

Position Summary:

At Riedell Skates, we take pride in being a family-owned and operated business since 1945. We are looking for candidates who are interested in providing our customers with some of the best skating products in the world.

We are currently looking to add to our Customer Service Order Entry Team. This team member will enter orders and respond to customer questions both via telephone and online Successful candidates will be self motivated and have the ability to understand product specifications and variations to accurately assist customers. Successful candidates will have a good attendance record, a positive attitude and the willingness to learn and take direction.

Minimum Requirements of the job are:

  • Must have strong experience in customer service work and customer care.
  • Strong computer use including but not limited to; Microsoft Office/Outlook, Internet.
  • Must have a positive and professional communication style, especially when dealing with outside customers.
  • Must be able to accurately and efficiently work with customers and the internal team to enter and update customer orders
  • Ability to utilize all office equipment, including but not limited to phone system, copiers/faxes and mail machine.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in a Customer Service Call Center environment or related experience
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with Excel daily, creating and manipulating spreadsheets, additional years of experience preferred.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent attendance.
  • Ability to adjust work schedule as needed.

Additional Preferred Skills:

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in customer support and order entry.

Pay:

  • Starting Pay: $18.00 to $21.00 per hour. Starting pay may vary based on skills and related experience.

Hours:

  • Day Shift, Monday–Friday schedule.
