Position: Return/Repair Team Member
Location: Riedell Skates - Red Wing, MN
Position Summary:
At Riedell Shoes, Inc. we take pride in being a family-owned and operated business since 1945. We are looking for candidates who are interested in providing our customers with some of the best skating products in the world.
We are currently looking to add to our Return/Repair Team. The successful candidate is a self-motivated and independent person who will take pride in repairing and rejuvenating skate boots. This successful candidate will use hands-on skills to adjust and repair skate boots to meet the satisfaction of the customer and our internal requirements. This successful candidate will also assist in receiving returned items and determining the correct course of action. This may involve working directly with customers through email or telephone. This candidate will also work with a variety of company employees to determine the correct process and resolve any customer requests. Being flexible and open to opportunities is critical, as all of our employees are expected to help out where needed to support the most urgent business priorities.
Position Responsibilities:
- Addressing product concerns from both internal and external customers.
- This may involve speaking to external customers over the phone or email to determine product concerns and solutions.
- This may involve independently providing solutions or working with internal team members to determine the correct solution.
- Working independently to assist in receiving returns.
- This may involve reviewing returned items to determine the appropriate process for each specific return.
- May also become involved with Customs and Product Development.
- This may involve working with the Custom Skate and Product Development team assisting them in completing special request work.
- There may be additional duties as directed by management.
- This area can cover a variety of daily tasks that can change with each work order and may assist in other areas as needed.
Minimum Requirements of the job are:
- The ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
- The ability to multi-task, manage workflow, organize and solve problems with minimal supervision.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively and professionally with both internal and external customers.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to regularly conduct stand-up work
- Excellent attendance.
- Ability to work overtime or adjust work schedule as needed.
Additional Helpful Skills:
- 2 to 3 years of experience in industrial stitching/sewing and shoe construction.
- Effective use of hand tools and good manual dexterity.
Pay:
- Starting Pay: $21.00 to $24.00 per hour. Starting pay may vary based on skills and related experience.

Position: Production Team Member
Location: Riedell Skates - Red Wing, MN
Position Summary:
At Riedell Skates, we take pride in being a family-owned and operated business since 1945. We are looking for candidates who are interested in providing our customers with some of the best skating products in the world.
We are currently looking to add to our Production Team. Successful candidates will have a good attendance record, a positive attitude, and the willingness to learn and take direction. Past experience in manufacturing and shoe building is a plus.
Minimum Requirements of the job are:
- The ability to perform various production-related tasks such as assembly, machine operation, and material handling.
- Must be able to correctly read and interpret work orders.
- Must be able to recognize and take action to address defective materials and machine malfunctions.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively and professionally with both internal and external customers.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to regularly conduct stand-up work.
- Excellent attendance.
- Ability to work overtime or adjust work schedule as needed.
Additional Preferred Skills:
- 2 to 3 years of experience in industrial stitching/sewing and shoe construction.
- Effective use of hand tools and good manual dexterity.
Pay:
- Minimum Starting Pay: $19.65 per hour. Starting pay may vary based on skills and related experience.
Hours:
- All Production positions work a day shift, Monday–Friday schedule.
